I’m down 4.2 pounds! It’s actually probably around 10 pounds though since I didn’t record my weight gain during my 17 days with pms. And although the weight loss is sweet, it’s not due to any kind of hard work or dedication. Pure flu virus. So, yayfluforgettingmebackontrack?!
BTW, I STILL have the flu. That’s right. This is day number 8. Nothing is simple with this body anymore.
Finally! I’m back on the right track this week. Down 2 pounds and 2 inches off my waist.
I haven’t done one of these for awhile. I’ve been stuck on this plateau and didn’t want to talk about it. But I think I’m getting over it now. I only lost 0.4 pounds, but it’s better than the numbers I’ve been seeing as I sporadically step on the scale. I’m going to weigh myself every day between now and the new year to keep myself in check. As for fitness, I’ve been taking some zumba classes which I think is really helping. And even though the scale is being a dick right now, my body is still changing. I went shopping last week and bought clothes in sizes and materials that wouldn’t have fit me before. And after measuring myself, I am still losing inches, so that is comforting.
1.9 pounds this week! 25 pounds total.
It’s my birthday on Sunday. Fesivities start tonight!

I showered and ate and put on makeup and weighed myself again and the number was lower. 1.2 pounds lost is what I’m going with as the official number.
I only lost 0.1 pounds this week, but considering the scale told me I’d gained 14 pounds after being in Mexico for the week, I’m good with the numbers today. I also lost a half inch from my neck, and 1 inch from both my waist and hips. I also started a cleanse a couple days ago. Going good so far. And I’m staying mostly on track with food, including tracking. Now if I could just make it back to the gym…
I didn’t have time to post before I left for Mexico, but the day that I left, I weighed myself and had lost 2.5 pounds. I fully expected to gain that back during my week of vacation. I decided not to go to the gym while I was there. Which seemed like a good move. My one girlfriend brought along her gym gear in the hopes of going every morning. She never made it even once. The week was about celebrating, which we did epically. No regrets. I was a little fearful when I stepped on the scale when I got home though. And I was right to fear. It told me I’d gained around 14 pounds! 14! Now just settle down, breathe. Look at your ankles. They are non-existent and it looks like you have a second set of knees by your feet. Clearly the water pills did not work as great as expected. (But they did work a little. I was definitely less swollen than last time. Even with more drinking.) It’s not quite a week later yet and I’m only about 3 pounds over what I was pre-Mexico. Piece of cake! Or apple. Whatever.
Down 1.8 pounds! I was wearing a pair of jeans the other day that I don’t normally wear because the thighs are kinda rubbed out in them (I wonder why *eye roll*) and kept thinking to myself, how come this pair of jeans isn’t any looser on me when I’ve gone down a size? Have I gained weight this week? Shit. And then I actually looked at the tag. They were already a size smaller lol
I’m hosting a Thanksgiving potluck today. I’ve got housecleaning and food prep to do. I’m making the turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and gravy. And the cranberry sauce. But I made that on Thursday. mmmmm
A day late since I was running late yesterday and I always weigh myself Friday mornings. Just a small loss, 0.5 pounds, but I’ll take it. At least it didn’t go up!
I went to see Jerry Seinfeld last night. Soo funny. Funnier than I expected, actually. I’ve never really heard a lot of his standup so I wasn’t really sure, but I wasn’t disappointed. And the people sitting around us reeeaaallly enjoyed it lol
I used the sauna at the gym for the first time yesterday. I liked it. I think I’ll make it a regular part of my workout. I love the feeling of coming out of the sauna. It’s so cool and refreshing. Like my whole body was a Klondike bar.
Tonight is ladies night. Basically we’re going to get drunk and gossip and go dancing. And maybe see the peelers. It’s the usual end to our night. Drink, dance, see naked women and eat beef jerky while doing it. It’s going to be fun!
