And I Ran

I ran! Not a lot, but I ran. Short 45 second intervals while I walked on the treadmill. 45 seconds running, 2 minutes and 15 seconds walking, for 40 minutes. I don’t remember the last time I ran for any reason. I’m also doing a challenge with some friends this week to walk 30 kms (almost 19 miles for you Americans).

I know I’ve been absent lately, but absence makes the heart grow fonder, right? 🙂 I promise to write more soon.

  1. YAY!! running is amazing & addictive 🙂 When I started running on the treadmill in Dec 2010 I could barely go for 2min without having to stop… now I can slam a solid 10K outdoors without taking a walking break! Just keep pushing yourself and you’ll be amazed with what you can accomplish 🙂

  2. Yay for you!!! 🙂 What’s the walking challenge all about? I walk a lot now that I don’t have wheels but I never know how far really. Lol

  3. Woo Hoo – go you. I feel very envious, I gave up on the runing as I got sore legs, decided I am shifting some of the excess fat before I start running again….But go you, I am very impressed! xoxo
